Scenography Design for Touchdesigner Roundtable London

As part of the TouchDesigner Roundtable London, I collaborated as a volunteer with artist Izzy to create an immersive visual environment that reimagines urban space through fragmentation. The work deconstructs city structures, forms, and textures—dissolving buildings into geometric planes and reconfiguring them into a dynamic, evolving “third space” between the physical city and its abstraction.

Drawing from a large personal archive of textures, landscapes, and everyday materials, we reworked these fragments through analog and digital methods—scanning, drawing, cutting, distorting, and layering. This intuitive process translated memory and dislocation into new spatial relationships.

Using TouchDesigner, we transformed these elements into real-time generative visuals. The software allowed for fluid experimentation with motion, rhythm, and spatial distortion. Through its node-based system, we built a reactive audiovisual environment that responded to both pre-recorded and live inputs.
